Sunshine and temperatures that were a good 11 degrees warmer than last week drew out twice as many women as last week to face winds that were gusting to twice the speed of last week. Of the 10 who were out both weeks, 8 improved, and four of us did so by more than 25% in our cube speed. Jean Cooper posted the largest improvement with a performance ratio relative to last week of 1.2878, but she enjoyed her 3 second win over grandson Kyle even more, since she knows that he will be motivated for some good competition next week. Christina Czaban was only slightly less improved (performance ratio 1.2861), and much warmer this week than she was in the cold rain with her bare legs last week. Celia McInnis (senza fiori but still having lots of fun) and Lisa Hébert completed the list of those with improvements exceeding 25%. Fastest of the night in 15:06 was "Once is not enough" Tricia Spooner, who actually rode the course twice tonight in preparation for a longer time trial race. Claude Dreano in 16:31, and Kathy Bradley in 16:38.

(Lest complaints about me just lazily sucking in the results surface, I wish to make it perfectly clear that I would gladly do the data entry, getting the results up within a few of hours of the event, as history shows that I did for the WTT series for the decade beginning in 1998, and for the OTT series from 1999-2002 and again in 2006. The OBC Board however, not only won't let me volunteer here, but strangely enough they actually expelled me from the OBC for donating this time trial web site to you !)
